I write to ask for a moment of your valuable time to introduce our club to your Company.

We are Preston North End Women’s Football Club and currently compete in The Football Association Women’s Premier League Northern Division within the top tier of the women’s game and also have teams from age under 10’s up to and including a full Reserve squad.

As you will no doubt be aware, the sport of women’s and girl’s football within Great Britain is the fastest growing sport in the country and recent years, Preston North End WFC has achieved sensational successes being promoted from the North West Women’s League, through the Combination League to its present standing.

With the successes of the England National team’s recent performances alongside the Under 19’s success at the Euros, the game in general is now receiving unprecedented coverage through not only local news agencies, web sites and local media channels but now also national media coverage via the BBC, Sky Sports and Euro-sport on a regular basis with the FA Women’s FA Cup attracting a crowd in excess of 25,000.

The purpose of this initial contact is to continue to lay solid foundations for our club and in particular hopefully secure local business sponsorship packages from leading companies which in turn would allow Preston North End WFC to represent not only themselves, but also highlight the growth and diversity of the City of Preston and its associated businesses.

At the time of writing to you, we currently have just embarked on our 4th season within the FA Women’s Premier League and after recruiting a new Head Coach with National Division experience and various other strong coaches, we are confident that PNEWFC have a strong chance of promotion into the FA Women’s National Premier .

Our club is looking to secure an “Official Club Sponsor” for the season 2010 / 2011 and would be grateful at this stage if you could indicate whether your Company would consider meeting with representatives from Preston North End WFC to discuss the above in more detail.

If however, you are not currently looking at being an Official Club Sponsor but want to support PNEWFC is some way, we do require Individual Player Sponsorship. All our players are asked to go out and source a personal sponsor for the season.

We truly believe that our club has great potential and structure to enable full value to be given for whatever sponsor package you may be looking to achieve and that we will promote your Company to its full meaning in a truly professional manner.
